Comedy Central celebrated South Park’s 10th anniversary at The Lot Studios in West Hollywood, CA. Event producer Jeff Brown from BrownHot Events commissioned Firefly to give the party a unique, atmospheric flair.

 

A 14-foot inflatable sphere hung in the center of the room above the heads of the guests - as four HD projectors wrapped the orb in 360º coverage. Because of the rigid, square angles of standard projections, precise mapping calculations were necessary to achieve a seamless image around the sphere.

 

Firefly worked closely with Comedy Central to hand-pick clips featuring some historical highlights from this iconic animated series, and those in attendance were happy to honor a show that continues to push political and societal boundaries in the name of comedy through social commentary.
